I NEED YOUR HELP (Ontario resident helpful)- car got hit
I got hit from behind by a semi-truck. This happened in NY. I from NY and the other guy was from Ontario. I called the police and they wrote up an accident report. When I went to go pick up the report the insurance code for the other driver was not listed. I was told that out of state insurance code aren't listed. Now I'm stuck with the bill. I only have liability. Can anyone help me track the insurance info.
I know the plate, vin, name of company of owner, policy number of insurance & insurance broker (not insurance. broker would not give out info) I called the owner and ask if I could get the info. He told me he doesn't think his driver caused any damage to my car and that if I wanted his insurance info I better find out about it another way and then he hung up.
PLEASE HELP. ESPECIALLY IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.

damn that sucks soo bad, i hope you can get this all resolved with the trucker people. I say you go over to ontario and beat some motha truckin ***.

hey there.... I'm apex i ITR's wife and I'm currently in toronto. which is about 2 hours from windsor. I have a friend who is a PI and I'm going to see if he can check on this guy for you. I'll try as hard as I can okay.. I hate shady people like that. My husband has been in enough accidents and i would hate for this to happen to him. So if i can help someone else i will!!

I may be wrong here but I think you spelled the name of the lessee wrong, I think it is Paron transport, and for some reason I think they aresomewhat local to me. but there isn't much I can do to help you man. Sorry

No, I think I spelt it right. I checked the yellow pages and the owner also gave me the spelling cause he wanted me to email him. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Info in up top. All I need is the insurance info. For the people in Ontario is it true that if the insured does not report the accident i can't collect. I called their broker and she wouldn't give their insurance info cause the insured didn't report yet.

Sorry not sure what your last comment meant regarding time frame. I have time. No choice but to wait. I'm trying to do what I can. Repeatly calling my insurance, the police department, and ives insurance broker.

I'm from Windsor, and my friends dad's friends either owns Ives or works there...... That and I'm about 5 blocks from Rose city ford.... I'll see what I can do, ohh and my friends dad is retired opp hehe
