Re: (TyPe-R6)
well, simply giving you power figures, the jdm ITR has got 200hp and 134tq, but the jdm h22a has 200hp and 161tq. so the torque is the main difference there.
even assuming you still had the teg, an h22 would be quicker, so basically a long answer to your question, yes it would definately be comparible, and is in fact, faster.
people always bitch about how heavy the h22, but compared to a b18c, it honestly isnt too much more for what power you get - especially comparing N/A (cuz H is kinda weak for boosting) the swap can be expensive, but still isnt too bad at all.

h22's are kinda heavy and i believe they require a good amount of cutting to make it fit in the engine bay or relocation of the mounts.
if you're into that much work/expense and want to be different? why not k20a3...never seen it done to an eg though, just throwing something crazy out there, i know nothing of swaps.

Re: I need opinions !! (TyPe-R6)
Found this thread on how much motors weigh
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=878010
H22 is only 39lbs heavier than a b16a swap

yeah thats what i was thinking but got pulled into the h22 instead.
people talk about the swap being so difficult but it honestly isnt too tough. the cutting for the shifter is honestly a piece of cake...
you just need new mounts - im rocking the hasports, but others find teh HCPs to be sufficient too. axles you can piece together or just get some custom ordered for fairly cheap.
other than that wiring is the toughest, and theres lots of guys here to help you with that, including myself (when my gets running). ive encountered alot of stupid problems so my h/b is in going a little slow.
hope this helps man!
