Which H22?
I have a friend who is trying to get a '94 Prelude but he wants to get the jdm H22 and "drop" it in. He keeps asking me what he should do as far as getting a jdm motor or just keeping what he has and just build on it. Personally I told him to just build on it but he just insists on getting a jdm motor. He says he reads about a lot of people who use the jdm h22 and wants to know why. So if someone knows please tell me why is this the case?

Some of the larger JDM engine importers can get you the optional LSD transmission for a few hundred extra. Might be worth the money if your friend plans to do any racing.

Wait I got a quick question.
Is a 93-95 h22a1 closed deck (obd1)
and 96 h22a1 is open deck (obd2)
??
I mean since they are both h22a1, do they have the same block?
or does it change since one is obd1 and the other obd2?
