im at the site http://www.hondaautomotivepart...irror and looking for a mirror. harder done than i thought. anyways, i have a 96 civic EX 4door, and the passenger mirror is smashed so i want to buy a new one. which part am i looking for? is it called a "plate" or what?

you can either buy the whole assembly,or buy just the case if you can still use your internals.have you tried a junkyard?would probably be much cheaper.

you could always buy the spoon replica mirrors from jdmshit.com I ordered a set from them for my eg. Great mirrors. It will probably be cheaper too!

i figured it would be chepa online. i mean, they cant charge more than 5-7 bucks for a friggin mirror. also, the junkyard charges like 10bucks just to get in.

oh ****, i think you guys think i need a whole mirror which i Dont. all i need is the glass actual mirror. it got cracked but the entire thing still works. i just dont like looking at the smashed glass mirror.

Go to a local glass shop, (safelite maybe) they will cut and mount
a mirror for you. should only be around $10-$15
