ok guys i have a 97 ek hatch with a b16 swap

and i got this codes just dont know why r they coming out

code 54 crank fluctuation sensor MY QUESTION WHAT DOES THIS MEAN IM CONFUSE and how can i fix it??

Code 65 SECONDARY OXYGEN SENSOR HEATER ON THIS ONE IM MORE CONCERN SINCE IT ONLY HAS 1 O2 SENSOR WHY DOES IT SAY SECONDARY?????????????????


any help greatly appreciate it i try searching couldnt find anything

I'm guessing you swapped an OBDI B16?

Crank Fluctuation sensor and the secondary O2 are both OBDII only codes. If you live in an area that would allow you to convert back to OBDI, that is the quick easy fix.

If not, then you will need to get an OBDII oil pump and everything required to install the crank fluctuation sensor, as well as, the secondary O2 sensor, and a cat if you deleted yours during the swap.

nah man i swap a 2000 si b16 into the hatch , the hach is obd2a and i just a harness to connect the obd2b ecu to the hatch since thats the ecu for the swap

well but everything was working fine in teh si till we did the swap thats my question how come this codes came up now and not before whats wrong or could the wires be pinch or cut or something the ones that run to those sencsors the connectors????

If your motor is a 2000 B16, then you should HAVE a secondary O2 and a crank flux. If you took those out, then you or your mechanic need to go back to the basics. Seriously, you should have those, and if not, wire them back in.

ok guys i might sound stupid but where is the crank flux locate it and the secondary o2 sensor cuz i only find one

Secondary O2 is in the CAT to make sure its functioning properly.

The CFS i believe is near the oil pump gear. (crank pully)

ok i know where this sensors are now my other question is those anyone know where in the ecu the pinouts are for this sensors so this way i can run the wires cuz i dont have the connectors for this sensors thanks guys i appreciate u alls cooperation
