I know I know another idle problem but come on, this is tough!!!!!
I just finished my b20 vtec conversion into my 1997 ex last week. I am using a 2000 gsr head with a skunk 2 intake manifold (so no iab). It runs great! but the idle is screwed up! the typical rev. between 1200 and 1600 constantly. I have replaced the iac valve and have no vacuum leaks. i allready bled the air out of the cooling system and nothing! It ran a 14.12sec. in the quarter so it runs great! Also I dont think it is hitting vtec. I cant hear it anyway. please help!!! and dont tell me to put cardboard behind the iac valve cuz i will kick you in the *****! thanks

It's your FITV, its located under your TB...search and you'll find several threads on what to do to fix it...20min job tops. To make sure its your FITV if you take off your intake assembly to get access to your TB....there should be 2 holes a couple inche's in...the bottom one is going to the FITV...if your car is fully warmed up and its sucking in air then your FITV is causing the problem with your idle.
