Default problem with idle,.....

help....big problem with my b16a ek4 idle, the idle keeps on bouncing 1000rpm to 1,500 help......

Several possible problems...most common are:

FITV Needs to be tightened.
IACV Needs to be cleaned.
Vacuum leak around TB/intake manifold.
Possible air bubbles in the coolent system.

Make sure there's no vacuum leaks...then check the FITV, IACV. FITV is probably your problem as it was on mine and seems to be the norm with it coming loose.

what you you mean by FITV, IACV???? where is that located?

already finished cleaning the FITV and the IACV, and my engine idles fine now,another problem, when i hit the accelerator....it stays at 1,500 and after a 6 to 8 second...it will drop back again to 850 or 900.....why it takes that long for the idle to go back??help

When you finish cleaning the IACV..should you spritz a lil WD 40 in it or anything...i mean it is a valve???
