I hear a field sfc-vtec can be wired to a non vtec, is this true and how?

I hear a field sfc-vtec can be wired to a non vtec, is this true and how?
I have a 96 civic DX hatchback, has the stock sohc and i cant find a wiring diagram for my ecu. i just need to know where the speed sensor, rpm signal, "sensor line" and "vtm are (on the ecu) ive tried searchin all i can, anyone that can figure this out is the man
