I have JDM H22a. Need information.
HI! I live in Europe. I have JDM H22a engine. I decide to put this engine in 3 door EG4 Civic. I read in this forum about how to modify suspension. But what to do with gear box and axle-shafts? What to do with mounts? Is Honda with base like Civic and with H-series engine?
P. S.

Ok i think i know what you are asking. You want to use the H22 "gear box" ie Transmission. And on the drive shafts. You can use 2 different setups. If you are going to run a mosty stock motor then you are going to want to use a 90-93 accord Intermeadate shaft. And 90-93 Integra shafts.
You are going to need a mount kit, HCP, HASport, place racing. You will also need to Re-wire the engine harness...
The suspension does not "have" to be modified but it is a good idea, with the heavier engine.
Good luck and do Lots and Lots more reading all the info is here.

No, you'll have to use the H22 tranny. B and H series are different. As far as making your own mounts, you might be able to, but I don't know how you would do it based off of drawings. I'm not saying you can't, I just don't know how.

The car/engine will still have to be rewired to accept to be installed in a civic. Not a whole lot but will still need to be changed.
The mounts from HCP are a really good price. I would reccomend them. You will NEVER have to worry about them breaking or having the bolt holes off. If they were out of the car that we swaped the H22 in then i might get you some drawings... But since i don't sorry :-(

What kind of results show EG hatc after engine swap. 0-60 time, 1/4 time? If car fitted with JDM H22A, LSD, ceramics clutch, and good suspension.
