I got a GSR CIVIC also new to this site
hey im new to this site i recently got a gsr swap in my 99 civic SI and a skunk 2 intake and some more mods that are to come and that i already have., i was wondering what is causing my RPM's to bounce like the car doesnt idle properly. a buddy of mine told me to disconnect the battery and wait about 10 mins and hook it back up start it up and wait till the fan turns on. but i was wondering what other methods are there for curing this problem. my temp guage also doesn't workim guessing its either a relay for my cluster cuz the leds dont work either or a temp sensor in the coolant. well id like to hear some input from you guys and thanks.

Did you plug the IAT sensor in the right spot? did you use a new gasket when putting the skunk2 mani on? Go back and double check all sensors (iacv, iat, fitv) all vaccums and spray carb cleaner over all the gaskets to make sure there is no leaks.

exactly what chris M said check all your sensors and then you can disconnect your battery like you buddy said. that'll reset your ecu. If problem still exists you can begin troubleshooting somewhere else.
