I just got a 93 civic ex can anyone tell me what it is like is it 1.5 liter non vtec or 1.6 sohc vtec or what? and when i was driving it i was kinda puttin in 2nd and it just stalled out and it turns over and everyhing and sounds like it wants to start but it wont anyone kno whtas the problem? my dad said it may be the fuel pump but he dont kno much about hondas

You have a D16z6 (that's your engine code). It is a 1.6 SOHC VTEC motor. As far as your problem. Turn the key to ON (one click before starting it) and listen for the fuel pump to come on. If that works, you may want to pull your plugs and check for spark.

yea my dad didnt kno if you would be able to hear it on a 4 cyl cuz he is used to v8s but yea he said he didnt hear it and i guess i could get some new plugs and wires cuz it prob need it anyways......are you sure its vtec cuz i read somewhere that the 93 civics ex were sohc 1.5 liter
