did you remember to hook up the grounds on the engine. Ive heard that the d16 is really picky about having the grounds correct.

Need to do some checks first, is there spark, second is there fuel pressure, is there fuel firing, cause one could be a bad ground, the spark plugs would not fire

I know I didn't hook up the ground on the tranny. The cable was too short, so I was going to replace it today. But that doesn't explain why the fuel pump didn't come on.

I redid all the grounds. The dash lights come on brighter now, and the fuel pump comes on. Still not cranking though...

did you connect the correct wires to the starter? Is the fuse blown for the starter?
