if your goin to boost, why dont you go with a GSR? type R is meant for All motor, hence the tight geaing, high compresssion and so forth. You might want to rethink that..

actually a type r is just fine for boost. But i personally choose the route of gsr just because it was cheaper. Good luck, hope to see you on the dark side soon.

so i should go with the b18c1 then? i love boost and i know that its cheaper. i'll wait a month when im saving then i'll make my decision whether to choose the b18c1 or the b18c5.

If boost is a solid intent in the forseable future, I'd rather save some $$ and boost a C1 personally. If you're gonna be N/A for a long time, then naturally a C5 would be a better "out of the box" choice, though with the $$ saved, there's ALOT you can do to a C1 to produce power levels equal to or higher than a C5. Of course that invlolves opening up the motor and getting your hands dirty, so if that's not your cup of tea, you'd better think about it.

Whatever you do to a C1 you can do to a C5, Tuning is a little more fincky.

my room mate is contemplating about selling his drag3 turbo kit from his 98 ITR. Got the T3/T4 turbo, greddy turbo timer/boost controller, VAFC, Spearco front mount, Blitz BOV and filters- PM him, he was thinking about selling it for around 2600 with everything! PM and see what he wants to do.
