a month isnt that long so i would just ask one of your friends to start it for you every couple of days. and if you dont want to do that then just expect to have to recharge youer battery cus most likely it will be dead. well mine is when i don't start it fo just a week!

u ain't even gotta worry about it man. i put my civic in a garage for a year when i deployed to iraq and all i did was disconnect the negative battery cable and when i came back, it started like it sat for an hour.

he's right thats all you gotta do. if your gona be gone for a while ,(like a year) put in some gas preserver esspecially if you got some engine work done.

If your gonna leave your car in the garage for a year or so then definitly remove the battery ground connection. Also its a great idea to change out the oil and put fresh oil in. The reason is becuase oil will start to absorb air and the gunk it collects will combine to make the oil acidic. This acidic oil then will slowly deteriote the rod and main bearings on the crankshaft and eat away any other bearing it makes contact to. The car will start up after a year of sittin in the garage if you skip this step but the life of the engine is reduced.
