I am getting new belts and pump PLS RD!
I am at 93K miles and i was callin around the dealerships for a new timing belt and for juss the belt and install theyallquoted somehwere about 250-300 so i was like **** that so i called some independent honda/acura shops and the guy at one said 350 for all new belts and water pump... and he dun do just belt cause then the pump breaks and breaks yer new belt.... so i am headed that way now but i want to know if that is a good price and if there are any aftermarkt performance water pumps at there? (unlikely lol)... thx

Hey, I just got mine done, got new timing belt, auxillary belt, power steering belt, and water pump, came to $425(canadian) before taxes (about $275 US), I only had 70k miles on mine. And I got it done at an independant garage, honda dealership is a ripoff.

yea thas exactly right. all the dealership were 280-300 on just the belt and installation... the independent shop i called was 350 for everything (yes, OEM). so now after i talk to my friend's guy about it to see what he'll give me, i can start saving towards it and hopefully reach it before i rly need it lol.....
sorry bout the punctuation :D
