if you get the zc obd0 you can make it obd1 by just changeing the intake manifold dizzy and injectors

You can't use the dizzy from your DX on a ZC engine - it doesn't bolt on.

You need THIS

OBD1 ZC distributor from Distributor King.

Question:

Why not just buy an OBD1 ZC to begin with?

There is not another distributor that will work for you other than the one I linked for you, which IMO makes buying a OBD0 ZC engine pointless due to the price of the OBD1 dizzy, and the fact that you'll need to swap injectors for OBD1s, and there will be other differences like MAP sensor, etc.

That's what we're here for bro!

Good luck!

H Motors Online is still a great place to buy the OBD1 ZC swap too though - last time a customer of mine bought one it even came with the correct ECU (P29 I think - it was a few years back) which most places don't even bother giving you.

If you cannot find one with an ECU then an OBD1 PR4/P75 works too. Even the 92-95 Civic DX P06 works well too. Ideally if you cannot find the correct ZC ECU with the engine you could get a P06 92-95 DX ECU rechipped.

Your not wrong on that, but if you happen to be broke/desperate enough you can get a D15B7 distributor to work. It goes like this, get the cam cap off a B18A1 and replace the ZC cam cap with it. this puts the top distributor hole lower so you can actually get one bolt in. You wont be able to set the timing, but it will run ok, not optimally but not bad either. A friend of mine bought an OBD1 ZC with a bad distributor and we couldn't figure out what to do, then he started eying up the B18 he had in the corner... anyway it worked.
