Default Hybrid Turbo

Help! I know absolutely nothing about turbo. I have a 93 civic dx w/b16a sir2 motor. I want to go turbo. Shoot, I want to be somewhere in the 11's. Well anyways, some guy offered to sell me a turbo for 150 (just the turbo). It is off an 87? mitsubishi sterion?( something like that). On the turbo it says tc05....? Could I use that in a turbo system for myself? What should I do? Any help would be great!

Peace

ummm highly unlikely its a t05 turbine since starion's come with a t25 turbine. also, a t05 would be waaaay to big for your b16. you will have major lag. try a t3/t4 hybrid.

Yep. Heres some advice. If you don't know very much about turbos, then spend a little time learnin' about 'em before you decide what to get. Theres alot of stuff you should get familiar with before you go and spend your hard earned money. Less regrets, and should'ves.
