hybrid civic b16a1 speedometer not working
well did the swap a couple of weeks ago
b16a1 into a 92 civic dx
using a 94 delsol distributor
and a p28 computer chipped out
the only problem I have is the speedometer not working at all times
at first the conector that goes into the tranny was broken and replaced it
but it did not solve the problem
but when it finally decides to work
the v-tech starts working fine
need any opinions or sugestions
email them to me
buenoparati@aol.com or post msg.
thanks

Re: hybrid civic b16a1 speedometer not working (FRANCISCO FLORES)
Is the vehicle speed sensor that goes into the transmission still good? that could be your problem. the sender in the top where that connector goes to can sometimes fail. You might want to run some kind of ohm tester on the car (if you can) and see if it is ok. I would check the wires going into and coming out of the guage cluster too, there could be a loose one.
