I got a LX, but the suspension is the same, and there are lots of bolt on exhaust available. I think there are intakes too, or you can get on to make it fit. Anyways, the basic stuff are there.

Actually its NOT the same stuff as any of the other civics. Its most common to an EX but the engine is the VTEC-E. I am having a hard time with an exhaust because I want a full catback but about the only thing available is HKS, too ******* expensive for me when I want to swap out my engine next year....and they won' tbe compatible then, and Thermal R&D which I will prob op for unless I go with an axel-back which I won't. But nothing is the same, different cold air intakes, AEM and Ingen do make one.. Umm suspension is same, but with engine bolt ons you get iffy on alot of stuff. Make sure you double check everything before you order, call the place talk it over and if they are like uhh I don't know - then I would be wary......

Not 100% sure but i think he is a she. You may be right about the door handles, i guess the sunroof is aftermarket or the honda dealer installed it if it is infact a HX.

The exhaust you have to get an EX and it will work, EX header must be used also with ex cat becuase HX cat sits up front of the block, intake is the same as ex, best thing to do is swap an ex tranny on it. The suspension is the same as EX, brakes are the same as LX.

I am a girl, mine is a HX - you can tell by the unpainted door guards, door handles and rear license plate area. I am the 2nd owner and I believe it has to be aftermarket sunroof. Its pretty tight though and does not leak.

As far as buying an exhaust setup for the EX, I don't believe it will work with some of the piping? But instead of spending more money you might want to go with what works for your car..

Troy - I think I wrote you and asked about your car like what you had on it, but you never wrote me back.

Also the black one is niice - what do you have done to yours?

the guy that said use the EX header, cat and exhaust was right. thats all u have to do. and all civics 96+ will have the same suspension. and u can use the intake for an EX also. its all the same. the engine is just a little different.

THe only difference in the engine is the head. Inside it to be exact. Other than that it is a DX bottom end.

Nope. Had one.
Basically take a black 2000 model civic, add HX rims and drop it 1.5 inches.
