How-to Y8 IM on a Z6 head? Need to know.
I'm running a full Z6 swap in my crx. I heard the Y8 IM is a good upgrade for this engine. What would I need and have to do to put this on?
PS - I heard that the B-series TB bolt on to this manifold? True?

Yes, the any B Series throttle body will bolt to the manifold. Port matching the manifold to the throttle body is needed to see optimal performance.
I'm doing this on my current D16z6 Turbo project.

He forgot the inlcude, the manifold bolts on no problems.
Just make sure you get a 96-98 Manifold.

True, also I believe there is a differnce between the manifolds of automatic and 5sp equiped cars.

Yes, it's the IACV position. However, if you are getting a GSR throttle body that has the IACV on it, there are no worries.

Now that you mention it. I have the both the manifold and T-Body with IACVs. How can I disconnect the IACV on the T-Body?

I dont see why a 99 y8 manifold would not work. I am using on in my 92 Civic. Just as well to go ahead and make sure you get a 5 spd one though. Unless for sure you are getting a GSR TB.
