Default d15b7 intake manifold swap Q

i have a d15b7 and i am being offered a y8 intake manifold for 40 bucks. do yall think it is worth it and is it a good price. also will i need anything for the swap besides new gaskets.

im wanted to know if i would benifit from the longert runners and whatnot and if there might be a 1or2 hp gain

You should pick it up. Everything should work fine, maybe with slight modification. You will need the Y8 throttle cable bracket also. Other than that you should be good to go. I don't think you'll need the Y8 throttle body, because the B7 intake manifold is the same shape as the Y8, just different design. The Y7 manifold has the downdraft throttle body...gay.

Search for some DIY's on here, I know they exist. Either a Z6 or a Y8 manifold would greatly help.

any d series manifold (either intake or exhaust) will bolt up to any d series head.

Correct. It will bolt up to your B7 head.
