how reliable are mini me swaps?

Default how reliable are mini me swaps?

do they shorten the life of the engine. or will they be as reliable as a stock one

they do shorten engine life especially if you rev the ***** off out of then

All in the build from what I've read, like the LS/VTEC. Do your homework, and don't cut corners, and you ought to be fine.

very true, you need that bottom end a **** hair stronger however

my opion is &gt; for the price you can pick up a ls motor and it is more reliable

wow realy **** didnt know it shortened the life whats the reasoning behind it?

With that combo you will need a adjustable cam gear to get the timing right.
I went with a y8 head on a y7 block on a 92dx, made things alot easier.

I would like to hear that also, nearly the same as a stock y8 just a slight change in compression.
