not much, thats for sure
1/4 panel repair is crazy expensive - that car would probably be marked as 'totaled' if it happened yesterday, because the car isnt worth that much
If I were you, I would keep looking.

it's really not about the exterior... i'd be more worried about the engine. exterior is cosmetic, but the engine is what you should be worried about. get us some engine specs specifically for the car (miles, title, damages, etc)

i concur, i wouldn't pay more for a grand
and for the person who says it isn't about the exterior, that is your personal preference, some of us don't want to ride around in a shitbox.

Well I do body and paint for a living so I guess my opinion isnt the same, But that dent isnt THAT bad, A stud gun and some metal work and it could be fixed, hardest part would be in the door jam, and I'd get a junkyard door

If no leaks or anything, can't really tell what else it looks like from other angles - what is the interior condition. Assuming all else is good I'd say about 1800. 2 is the most I'd pay, but that's only if the rest of the car is mint. The dent will probably be <300 to be pulled & paint matched since it's a pretty smooth-straight dent. Unless he decides a new door is necessary too (which he shouldn't). Maybe 500.
Del Sol's get a in my book. No rear seat, and heavy as hell - at that rate you're better off with a low-mid 90's Miata. Though if I wanted that car, assuming all else is good - I'd say maybe 1800 for it.

I'm in the .1% - YAY.
While I agree, there's a dent in my Tercel's passenger door...and I have absolutely NO intention of fixing it, meanwhile, it runs like a top and it's gonna be my daily driver.

between 1500 and 1800, u can easily fix that QP and that door if u do it urself its going to cost u an arm and maybe a leg if u go get it done. but over all looks pretty decent

Man, I don't know where you guys live at. Honestly the cheapest Del Sol I found around here was 2500, and it made a loud noise from the clutch, cracked windshield, no air, needed some body work, and even more. It wasn't near worth the price.
Every other one I've seen want at least 3 grand in that condition. I wouldn't ever pay that for the condition they are in, but that one doesn't look that bad honestly, at least if you are going to repaint it.
