Hi. I'm in need of some quick power for the local track opener and would like to know if anyone knows how much nos can I push on my sohc vtec motor? I just order a zex kit. I only have the basic bolt ons all stock internals. I drive a 94 ex. Thanks

i blew my motor two years ago. on the safe side just have a fpr and dont do anything stupid like squeeze five stop lights in a row. my engine got so hot, my valves melted and basically glued onto my head.

if you go bigger than 55,
look to get a fpr and maybe bigger injectors.

but quick and dirty dry set up from NOS is decent enough.

just don't do anything dumb

I've got a ZEX set up at 55 shot in my 99 EX. Gone through a whole bottle with no problems. mods include:

intake,tanabe RM exhaust, dc 4-1 cc, AEM fpr, ngk bkr7e,msd cap and ext coil.

the general rule of thumb is not to go over 50% your stock hp.

..i had a 75 shot of NX on my old cl2.2.. with nothing else done for awhile.. the sun just shines brighter when you start modding your car after a 75 shot..

I ran a 75 shot dry on my SOHC VTEC with 100,000 miles on it with stock timing and colder plugs and it ran fine for the 4 months I ran the kit until I sold it.
