I need to get rid of this motor since it's just sitting in hte driveway. WHat do you think it's worth?

NOTHING good about this motor IMO! Can I get $100? $50? $250?

I'm going to advertise it at no cost in the local paper.....

i would not even think twice about purchasing this motor.. i just got a 94 civic ex motor w/ 110k miles w/ tranny ecu and wire harness for 250$

Here's the ad: 1993 Honda Civic motor, No car just the motor, 5 spd, 150k, $50 I put it in the paper last week and I had tons of people calling me. Apparently they didn't put NO CAR JUST MOTOR. I had "best offer". It got so bad that I didn't answer the phone if I could not recognize the #. They're still calling as of last night

as it is I see them locally for around $100 complete swap. Good luck, I'm sure it's hard enough to just get rid of it.

Is there usually a price they'll pay for a "motor"? I have the hoist at my house and need to do this soon since the hoist will be going back probably later this week.

I dont think they would pay much, hell most people get rid of D series motors for free anyways. I would consider you lucky to get $50 from it - maybe take it to a junkyard, like a REAL junkyard, they pay by the pound
