Default How much to get this into my sedan?

http://www.hmotorsonline.com/s...30021 I was considering putting this into my 93 ex sedan instead of forced induction for my 128kmi D-series. I only have one car, if i have myself and a buddy to help, (i have limited knowledge, only what i've read, not experienced), do you think it could be done in a reasonable amount of time? Is it hard or is it mostly a direct swap knowing that its going from a d-series to a b-series. Thanks i appreciate it.

thats too old, wrong kind of tranny.

you're better off going with the sir2 complete swap.

Go to the top thread on here....the one about FAQ's....scroll down and you shall see the tech thread on how to swap that motor into your car. BTW...you would rather swap the B16a2...less hassle. I am sure someone on here can explain the technicalities. For one the B16A comes with a cable tranny. The B16A2 comes with a hydro.

being that the b16a2 is OBD2 and his car is OBD1, i say thats a bad idea.

no such thing as a b16a2 in japan. they are all b16a.

like i said mang, SiRII b16a complete changeover. 2300ish from HMO i believe.

wtf you gonna do with a long block?

you will still need the tranny, mounts, ecu, axles, EVERYTHING that the complete changeover comes with.

http://www.hmotorsonline.com/s...30005 is what you need

like everyone else has said....you should go with the b16a2 cuz it is hydro and that is what your car is....the one in the link is cable. that link is for basically just the motor, no tranny or axles or ecu which is gonna run up the price. if you put the motor in yourself it is gonna save you a descent bit of cash but that is if you are up for the task. Hmotorsonline is a good site and they do have the complete swaps on there for the b16a2 the one you should go with. if I am not mistaken you can get everything you need for around 2500 then you are going to have to pay labor if you don't install it yourself or with a buddy.
