Default My ej1 swap

So it's been about a year with my ej1 and i've been very satisfied with my car(my first car).
Raised some money for a while and coming to ht and seeing all the swaps has been very tempting so my time has come.

I was very luck to get my car from a 70 yr old woman who put 100k miles on it by driving to her daughters house. The car is free of rust, she is flawless =].

So days go by and here i am wondering what would be a real nice swap for me! and i decided to go with a b18c1! i couldn't afford a complete swap so i gathered all the parts and time has come. So let it begin.

The first few pics i'm going to post are about 8 months old, the ones with the swap was taken this week!

The car is pretty clean, engine runs mint. Now some more recent pics! The pictures arent that great because they were taken with my phone.

Piece by piece.

This is how we stand.

and now with some goodies installed. Exedy clutch stage2 inside.

SWAP HAS BEGUN. (LOOK AT ALL THE SALT ON MY CAR) WINTER SUX

COMPARE AND CONTRAST....

MORE PICS TO COME FELLAZ! WISH ME LUCKKKK

what do you mean?your swap didnt come with a o2 sensor?the b18c1 has a 4 wire o2 sensor and so does your ej1 motor(ej1's the dx right?).the only difference is the position of it.the d15b7 has it on the header and b18c1 has it on the downpipe.good luck with the car.

are you using the wiring harness from your stock motor?id say just use the integra harness.you wont have to extend any wires.itll be plug and play.if you use the civic harness youll have to extend more than just the o2 sensor wire.

Intakes are all the same, just depends on the filter. So if you go with an AEM or something then you're good. If you go with an eBay one, you can get a K&N cone filter for it.

well the engine was pretty cheap! it came with tranny intake mani and exhaust mani + shift linkage and all i gave the dude was an old laptop plus 300 bucks! then i had to buy axles, wiring harness, mounts, i decided to buy a skunk2 intake mani, aem fuel pressure regulator, exedy clutch, and little things like hoses, spark plugs, gaskets, so i deff spent less than 1200 right now! and recently i got a hell of a deal. i posted on craigslist regarding some parts i needed and this guy calls me desperately saying he had a complete gsr swap and that he would sell it to me for so cheap that i would sh*t in my pants and i did. got the whole swap for 300. you guys may think i'm lying but i have everything with me. that's why i have a thread selling all the parts! before buying it i checked everything, everything was mint. i guess i'm a lucky guy!

X2! Sounds a little *too* good to be true... Other than that, did you move the fuse box and did your coupe come with rear disks stock?

Oh alright then, well then very good find! Haha, can never be too careful nowadays. EX's come stock with power steering, sun roof and cruise control. You've got a pretty rare EX-S, I don't know how many of them were this particular model, but I know I wouldn't mind one. But they got the rear disk and ABS stock as well, as for the fog lights, you bought it from one cool granny! hahaha, have fun with the project man!
