i understand your thinking, but you will take it up the *** if you get a new factory radiator. CR and 1800RADIATORS are very reputable places to get a quality aftermarket replacement. looking at majestic, it is 520 list for a delsol vtec rad, id take a chance with CR or 1800RADIATORS.

A 99-00 si radiator is cheaper from Honda but still it's costly.
I work at Honda but still bought a Advance Auto dual core for $100. Does the job and has a lifetime warranty.

I bought mine from http://www.radiatorbarn.com. It was a Del Sol VTEC Dual core all metal . Excellent shipping and product. Mine was under $100 shipped
