In my opinion...
Just sell it as is. Maybe fix the lights and maybe get a new rear bumper (if its cheap).
Right now, if your interior is indeed in clean, you could get maybe a few grand (depends on where you live. If you lived around St. Louis like I do, this is probably a 2000 dollar car AT MOST as our car market is low).
The lights and rear bumper may help a potential buyer see more... well, potential. Right now she's a bit rough around the edges so every little bit helps.
Good luck getting people to look past the 2nd gear. Thats gonna take a bite outta your potential buyers list.

I would say your market is probably stronger (especially for hondas). Id say turboteg's 2500 estimate is probably pretty darn close to what you could get.

Your car is on 14" stock wheels, has an unpainted front bumper and a scratched rear bumper. The big thing is the tranny. Most potential buyers will take it for a spin, and once they can't get it to stay in 2nd they will say no thanks. Not trying to be mean, just trying to keep you realistic here. This car needs new synchros, painted front and rear bumper and who knows what else. Stock timing belt and water pump? If so, that'll take a few bucks off the car's value also. To put it in perspective, I picked up a 9/10 condition 99si with 75k on it for 6,500 bucks. Hondas are going for dirt cheap these days, and there are a lot of them out there to pick from. I'd get the car fixed or keep it. You'll lose your *** selling it in this condition.

New paint, everything maintenanced, bolt ons, wheels, new tires, and other cosmetic mods were all needed to get that price.
As I explained earlier, our market is lower than yours but you just cant get that money for the condition your car is in.
Sorry bud, if you tranny had zero issues and some new body panels, MAYBE you could get around 3 grand or so. Thats if you find the right buyer looking for a project.
And don't get me wrong. If you can get someone to pay 4 to 5 grand for your civic, more props to ya. Good luck!

I'd say 3000-3500 if the tranny was good
even though you can replace the tranny for 350 bucks tops. a buyer will take like a thousand bucks off.
dude the tranny and the engine are what make the car drive it's like the brain and spine of the car.
I say 2500 as is

replace the rear bumper, go online to majestic and buy the metal lanel under the tailioght, and find some OEM or nice looking aftermarket tails, replace the grill
you can prolly get the tranny rebuilt with new synchros for 2-400 at a good tranny shop.
Id bet 3500 could be seen with all that done. most likely only worth that work if you got the parts cheap. ebay and craigslist are your two best friends in this case.
other then the minor damage, looks to be a solid car

That tranny will bite you in the ***, 2500 if you can find a nonchalant buyer who doesn't mind a little work. 2000 and it should get scooped quick. Honestly though a 2000 ex in near perfect condition would pull a premium. Talk to maaco about paint and check craigslist for a tranny or parts you need. You could get 4000 or more out of it for probably less than 500 worth of work. I guess it depends on what your time is worth
EDIT: Pick up some lights on ebay. They're cheap as hell but only a Honda spazz will care. Not someone who has never owned one before.
