I'm pretty sure its VTEC. It's whatever the stock motor for an EX is.

Okay, really though your motor is pretty desirable for tothers looking to build a SOHC screamer.
I'd say around $800.00 *maybe* - but remember that whoever buys it will have to put money into a timing belt and water pump and misc. parts that are due at 90K.
I've seen them go as low as FREE - $350.00 all the way up to $900.00+ from a yard.

Tiiiiight. 800 bucks is 800 less that I'll have to spend on my B16A.

Well that was an educated guess. The market really determines the price. Find someone who really NEEDS it and $800.00 isn't too unfiar of a price.
You might end up dumping it for more like $650.00 or so. That's what I paid for one when I needed it the next day to put my 1992 Si back to stock to sell it in a hurry.

I mean it really doesnt matter how much I'm going to sell it for. It's going to sit in my garage if I dont sell it and any amount of money is going to help out with the B16A and the swap installation. Do you know how much I'm looking at for a swap? Keep in mind, I'm swaping the auto trany for a manual one too.

hard to say what your final bill will be but add stuff up like :
engine, tranny, ecu, shiftlinkage 2400
you will need manual parts like pedals, clutch master and slave cylindars prolly other stuff I might be forgeting. all this can be had for like 100 - 200 from a junkyard if you get lucky but expect to pay more like 500.
then comes the big deal LABOR, They will prolly give you a break since you doing it at the same time, but you're prolly looking at like 2000-2500 labor.
or you can become friends with a shop and maybe they will hook you up, like Im getting a b18b + tranny swap + turbo kit installed for like a $1k in labor.
also factor in stupid **** like oil, belts, and misc stuff like that.

Oh well I forgot it was an auto.
Nobody for performance will want your auto. Break the engine and tranny apart and sell them separately.

Honestly to sell it decent I'd say 350 to 400. I bought mine with 70K miles on it auto for 350. You have to remember unless there just doing a barebones replacment (most aren't). You will have to have the ecu chipped or buy a new one. Also nobody will probably want the trans with it. I think you should try selling the motor and ecu together for 350-400 and try getting anyone to take that auto off your hands for another 100 maybe.
Just a honest suggestion. At the most you could squeeze the motor and ecu for
probably like 650. GOOD LUCK!
EDIT: JUst remember this is OBDII the ecu will be useless to most of us. I'd try selling them all seperate.

Well this is basically a cleverly-worded for sale topic, so it too is locked like the others...
