I just installed my cable tranny into my eg and wondering if anyone else has had this setup for awhile now and can provide some feedback or comments.

What do you mean, you can't push the pedal down?

Also for the people that have actually done it, does your pedal feel the same as stock? I tried bleeding mine over and over and can't get the pedal pressure to stay consistent throught it's entire travel range.

there is no way i would daily drive that car. it isrediculously hard to press the pedal. it works, but it also took over 2 hours to bleed because it puts the bleeder at the lowest point. this is the only experience ih ave with a cable trans in a hydro car.

thanks for the reply. I also spent over an hour bleeding it to death and the pedal still feels like mush.

I've found out from another member that it is far more effective to unbolt the slave cylinder and turn it sideways like a stock Hydro setup to bleed the clutch.
