this is wrong. all honda's from...
92-95 - OBD1
96-98 - OBD2a
99-00 - OBD2b

b16's in the U.S. ...

94-95 Del Sol VTEC - B16A3 DOHC VTEC - OBD1
96-97 Del Sol VTEC - B16A2 DOHC VTEC - OBD2a

99-00 Civic Si - B16A2 DOHC VTEC - OBD2b

i got my 94' VTEC about 3-4 years ago, i knew they were rare, but never knew only 9% were the VTEC's

yea i meant 99-00 Civic Si. i type faster than i think 30% of the time, and i just woke up.

anyone ever heard of a Del Sol VTEC TC? a friend has one, has factory swaybar in the rear and gsr strut bars up front, and ABS its nice

just a guestimate until somebody knows the real answer.

This is what I always tell people. Keep in mind however that Honda did NOT make an equal amount. The actual number is much lower. They are rare and expensive.

im just glad they made more 94 and 95's....i love the fog lights

and also...i got to stare at my blown engine in my 94 del sol VTEC....sucks but hey, imma rebuild this spring and go for broke on a nice turbo setup.

I never heard of it. But mine came with ABS, rear sway bar and the upper strut bar and its just called a Del Sol VTEC model. Where does the TC appear ?

Honda del Sol's imported with stock B16A*
(Last digit changes depending on year)

1994 - 2000 B16A3
1995 - 2500
1996 - 2500
1997 - 500? model production end. Sales were really dropping so all model numbers were reduced.

I know for a fact (Data from Honda Japan web site ) that the numbers I list for 1994 to 1996 are correct.

So if the #'s in other posts are correct with a total of 75,000, divide this by 7500, and you get 1%. --1%-- of all del Sol's came with this engine as a stock OEM.

The 1999 Honda civic sedan also came with this engine.

I have a stock 94 with the B16A3 engine, rear ended, insurance is calling it a total loss. I want to sell. make me an offer, lots of photos and extra parts.

Stock front upper strut brace
Stock front anti sway bar
stock rear anti sway bar
full set of shocks and springs from 95 removed in 98. (old but young)
Fabric front bumper cover/ bra (with the bag)
