how long could an b18a ls vtec last
I really dont race any more but i need to so something about my motor cuz its crapping out. i think that if i put my vtec head on it will help it hold together better cuz its looking oil and water and i cant pinpoint it. I didnt have this problem before with my last motors so im thinking that since i took the vtec head off the ls head my have some problems. post what yall think

if you're motor's dying, how's a new head going to solve anything? It's probably your block.

well im in the process of troubleshooting. It my block is mechanically sound, how long has everyone elses lasted because im always hearing crap about the rod stroke. My last ls vtec had a t3/t4 turbo and my tranny blew. 3 weeks later I had it running and i started it up and it threw a rod. It never made any noise or rod noise before, so something probably happened to it while it was sitting there, possibly rust i dont know, but it was fine. so im seeing how long naturally aspirated motors last for yall.
