How to increase torque
Hello people,
I was just wondering, what would be the best thingi could do to my 92 si hatch that would increase overall torque.
More specifically, how would i be able to notice a difference in pull if i was cruising on the highway and hit the gas pedal from a constant speed?

There's a guy walking through your engine bay.
To the OP - a good way to increase torque would be a turbocharger or swapping the motor out to one of the torquier Honda motors (H22A or B20B/Z).

You guys are douche bags... If you don't tell someone why they should agree with you, they never will. Christ.
Ok, the d16 in your car is known to not have torque. It's how the D's are. No torque, rev em out to make power.
You can go through milling the head, cam, higher compression pistons, etc, and still not make the torque you could with a different motor. And you'd spend tons more trying to match it.
My best suggestion is throwing in an F22b1. They're cheap as hell. Make more hp and tq than an LS swap. Use H22 mounts off ebay that are $100 (got an F23a1 in my DD using those mounts and I love it). It's not a tough swap, if you take a little time. Oh yeah, did I mention those motors are cheap?
If you can't get a full swap for around $500, you're not looking hard enough. After that, some teg axles, shifter and cables, game on.
