i think its bolt off, bolt on. i'm about to change my tranny to a y8 tranny, and probably put my z6 tranny on my soon to be mini-me engine project.

all the details you need:a shop manual.
no different than taking off your stock tranny and putting it back on.

easy,,, let me know and ill send you the manual....and just follow it and you'll be done... just remember to remove the starter which is not mentioned in the manual... but im tell you now...

It isn't that hard but be careful. Make sure you have something to hold the engine and either have a trannie jack or have a strong friend under it like I did so the trannie can fall on him. j/k
