y8 trans to z6 trans?
A local guy has a z6 motor / trans swap with 160k and he says it runs flawlessly. Still in the car and says anyone can drive it before purchasing whatever. I talked to him a few months ago and he said he'd take $125 for the tranny so I think I'm gonna go for it since I can afford it now.
But will there be any issues going to a z6 tranny from a y8? Just wanted to make sure.... Straight bolt-up correct?

Good to go. Some may argue that the Y8 tranny is Better, but it shouldn't be a problem.
Side note, If i were building a D I would want a Z6 with a Y8 tranny.

My car is just a DD. I don't really care what tranny it has. I just prefer the y8 / z6 since they have the shortest? But yeah..thanks for the info .
