disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes

OR

remove the back up fuse for like 10 seconds

OR

you could just disconnect your ECU, that way you won't have to reprogram your stereo.

1.) Drive your car
2.) Turn off your car
3.) Pull out the blue 7.5A (or 15A fuse, can't remember. been a while since I did this) fuse from your underhood fuse box for 1 min -- it's your ECU fuse (refer to the fuse diagram for exact location)
4.) Plug the fuse back
5.) Restart your car and idle for 10 minutes
6.) Restart your car and your car should be running with the new reset configuration
