How do i remove the pass airbag in my 96 civic
like the topic says, i can not figure it out, i spent 2.5 hrs trying to today and no dice. I searched on here because i know i has been discussed before but i must not be looking for the right thing. I am in need of getting this out the airbag has deployed and it looks like crap. Is there any one that can hit me with a link or any info on where i can get info to get this damn thing out. Thank you in advance

Disconnect the wires and remove the screws. The tricky thing is that there are tabs on the airbag assembly that holds it on the dashboard. Being that the airbag is already deployed, grab a flat head screwdriver and pry that &*tch out

i replaced my air bags for my 96 ex last week...2 tiny bolts in the front..1 tiny bolt in the back.. 10mm....from underneath after u remove the 3 bolts..try to push the 3 bolt studs out of the holeand then start to pry from the top..and yeh..like jdmturbo1127 said..theirs tabs u have to pry open! it took me like 10 mins cuz i havent gone to the gym in like a month..lol..and also make sure when ur pryingg it with a flat head..try not to mess up the dash! good luck!!
