haha and if it doesnt pass kiss it goodbye
if the motor is a newer b16 99-00 then it will have a green vin-tag on it. i am not sure about del sol vtec model b16's. JDM b16's dont have vin tags. If the vintag is missing then good chance its stolen.

Depending on the year, there maybe be no VIN numbers at all. If there are, it should be right to the left of the engine code stamp. Then there should be one on on the back of the block along the bottom edge near where the oil pan edge is.
Do you see them? Were the rivets ground off? Are they gone? Could be many things.

FYI TOO ALL MY HONDA FRIENDS>>>>
always, ALWAYS>>> Engrave your DL state code and number onto your head, tranny and block in a viewable area... its ugly and most thieves may scratch it off... but when it gets recovered, atleast there is a chance to get it back... Just putting your name doesnt get it... TRUST ME ON THIS ONE
