How to change from 3 wire to 2 wire IACV?
My current setup is a y7 running a p06 ecu chipped with hondata. The idle has sucked and I have been unable to come up with the culprit. I am currently running a 3 wire IACV that was on my y7 TB and I was told this is what is causing the shitty idle becuase the p06 only recognizes 2 wire IACV. Is there any post or thread or if anyone could help me out, or let me know if this is def. the problem. Thanks,

i sort of had a similar problem. i have a 92 vx and dropped in a automatic d16y8. that one came with the 3 wire iacv. what i had to do is buy the intake manifold and throttle from a manual and now it works fine. i know u are running a y7 and i dont know how to convert itthe 3 wire to 2 wire. i thought i could do that too. my suggestion would be to get a y8 intake manifold and throttle body from a manual engine, they come with 2 wire iacv. but thats just me.
