so ive been readin a lot on this conversion.
i have a 98 civic with z6 manifold and Y7 throttle body using a stock obd2a ecu.
so of course when i convert to obd1 with a jumper and obd1 ecu it idles cause o f the iacv.
ive read ppl changing throttle bodys and rewiring into 2 wire sensor.
but is there anyway i can still use my stock y7 throttle and 3 wire iacv?ive heard of ppl just clipping the orange wire n its fine but dont think its true.i wanna keep my obd2 plugs due to emissions.
thanks honda-techsss

3 wire wont work on a 2 wire ECU. Dont just "clip" the wire.
You need to get a 2 wire IACV and re wire the IACV wires on the engine harness to the proper ports. I did this when I changed to a D16Y8.

Thats my thread. It also shows how to wire VTEC but you wont need to do that.
