how can you tell a regular gsr tranny from a gsr tranny with lsd?

how can you tell a regular gsr tranny from a gsr tranny with lsd?
i have a gsr tranny and the guy who traded it to me said it had lsd.back in the day they said the way you can tell is to check where the axles go, and see if its halow but if itsnot and theres a bar going accross its not lsd. is this true or not?help.

Yes, that's correct. If you can see straight through the diff with no obstructions, it has an LSD. If you see a pin going through the middle, it has an open diff.
