How can I get a blue bulb 194 and bulb 24?
I know this subject area has been covered about 500 times, and i've searched almost every thread about changing the dash lights to amber or red or blue. However, all the blue dash lights seem to be done with LED only and I want to completely avoid LED's because of uneven lighting.
So I went to Autozone tonght and they had the bulbs 194 and 24 that i need for the speedo and climate control, however they only had white/clear and amber. I definitely don't want amber or red and they had no blue. So, how would I go about turning the clear bulbs blue without loosing any brightness, is this even possible? I read something in other dash light conversion threads about using blue condom latex over each bulb to make them blue, does this work? Doesn't the bulb melt the condom? I'm afraid to paint them because i don't want to loose any brightness. Do any of you know where i can buy blue #194 and #24 bulbs, that are NOT LED so i don't have to paint them? If not, what process do you guys recomend for painting them? Thanks!
Please, no flames about "gay gauge cluster lighting mods" thanks

I got mine at Pepboys, great selection. I bought a set of 5x #24s and one #74 when I made mine amber.
Of course, later on I went out and got an SiR cluster
