How can I fix this problem?
So.. today I took off my carpet to replace it with a new one and I found a little surprise. I found a hole on the driver side floor right under the floor mat. At first I thought maybe the previous owner jacked it up from there. But when I looked under the car... it looked like he ran something over, probably a big *** rock or someshit. In what ways do you think I can fix this? Get it hammered back down flat and re-weld it?

Do you have any pics from the underside? It doesn't look that bad to me. But if you wanna fix it i would think you would have to cut out the whole and re-weld som more sheet metal into it. Maybe try posting it in Welding/Fabrication?

i would peel up the sound deadening, then scrape all the **** off, then get it cleaned up and sand the area and primer it, then get some rust spray coating, or some rubberized spray paint for the floor, and if theres a hole cut it out and replace the rusted areas
