Default Hood spacers?

so can you just put washers under the hinge to make it stick up more? is that all you people do to space it out?, or am i missing someting? i tried to search but no luck.

yeah i tried, says no results, its either the search function on this board sucks, or im a n3wb at it, anyways, do i need to get longer bolts, or can i just get rubber washers to space it out?

Sadly people like this must be apologized for... certain things, big radiators (never seen a radiator cause this but I'm sure it can ), especially the H22's w/ certain mount set, etc. where the hood wont close all the way due to clearance you can fix by using spacers, then the hood "closes" further up so you won't have that problem...it's good for if your hood won't close by like 1/2 an inch due to an H22 or something...

its cool, depends how far you want to go, i would just go in your random bolts box and get bolts to a thermostat cover/housing or something and go from there, dont need to be much longer, if you need bolts give me like 5 bucks for shipping and ill send some over to ya,
