it's really easy, held on by 4 10mm bolts. It's easiest to do with a friend.

What are you swapping the hood out for? CF? You will need to adjust the hood before tightening the bolts.

Ah yes, forgot to mention it. The holes in your hood arms aren't a perfect circle, they're oblong, so the hood can be moved up and down slightly, much like the hood latch.

You have to make sure the hood is properly aligned on the hinges.

If you just bolt down the hood, it will be more biased to the left or the right, and front or back. You need to adjust to obtain the best fitment.

Adjust the fitment. Basically, unbolt the old hood. Then loosely bolt on the new hood, and gently close the hood and see how the gaps look and then move it up/down, left/right accordingly. Repeat until you are satisfied, then tighten bolts all the way. I did this on Sunday, took me about 10 minutes but now I need to drop my latch a little.

That's always such a pain in the ***. I had to adjust my hood latch in an Autozone parking lock with box wrenches

Adjusting the latch is a bitch. Turn by turn, slowly by slowly.

Again, not hard. Unbolt the old one and remove the cable, then attach the cable to the replacement and bolt it back on. As with the hood, it will need adjustment to ensure correct alignment.
