hood latch broke
ok i had trouble tonight and my hood wouldnt close...but i didnt touch it. So I guess just wear of opening and closing hood broke it? Well I took it off and spring was stretched so I'm going to get a new one tomorrow now how do I line it back up with the hood and will this be hard to do? I know its only three bolts...btw I'm also going to run a new cable for the hood latch. Thanks for any input on installation of these. This is for a 93 civic coupe.

Mine doesn't shut either, but if you just push the spring in it does. I just assume keep it, it's not that big of a deal... and I even have to pop my hood every other day to add oil... my car sucks!
