Default Hood Fitment

Hey,
The previous owner of my car had gotten into a fender bender and had to replace the drivers side fender and headlight and hood.

The replacement hood is OEM but it doesn't fit right. When it's closed it sits a little higher than the fender on the drivers side.

There's about a 3/4inch gap between the hood and the fender down by the headlight, a 1/2 inch gap halfway up, and the hood fits fine at the top. The hood sits fine on the passenger side all the way through.

How can I fix this problem?

Have you tried turning the rubber stoppers in front?
Adjusting the fender bolts under the hood?

I have not tried anything yet.

I will try adjusting the fender bolts and rubber stoppers.

that's what i'm afraid of but i haven't even checked it out so i'm not sure if that's my problem.

if the body shop has to put your car on a frame machine to bend it back, that'd be HUGE $$$
