those are machined with the head, if you swap them over from a different one good only knows how acurate they will be.

exactly no to are the same... if u buy some from a used head(which u can probably find cheap on ebay), make sure u take it a machine shop, and tell them it needs to be line honed...no 2 sets are the same, thats why the dealer only sells them with the head.

well i just got this fully built and ported head from exospeed. it cost me $1600 and they used a core with one of the holes completely stripped and the other was busted completely off (not from shipping)
soo uhh i cant really use a different head.
what happens if i dont have them line honed?

if you dont get it line bored afterwards the cam bearings most likely wont line up or give you correct clearances. have fun wrecking the motor you just spent a "heart attack" causing amount of money on. if exospeed really did do that (which i highly doubt) they would make it right, TRUST ME.

i got pics of it straight out of the box. i bought a core head from them, i didnt send them my own. and how can they make it right when i cannot get hold of them for over a month? phone, email, pm's, voicemail. try almost everyday. they still have to finish my block too.
btw, i got some good end caps just now from a guy i know. how would just the two end caps wreck the motor? lets say they are 0.003mm out of clearance, whats it gonna do? rougen up the bearing surface, maybe the cam, but right there i dont see why it matters. ill risk ruining the cam over a period of 2 years.
