Okay. I have an OBD-II car, an 98 Ex. I have an OBD-II wiring harness that I am tryin to install and use on my OBD-I JDM ITR Motor. Where in the **** is the Crank Angle Sensor on teh B Series motor???
Here is the sohc d series....

And here is the B Series.. Notice there is NO Crank Angle Sensor coming out of the crank assy.


PLEASE RESPOND ASAP!!!

also,
we need to figure out how to wire up the distributor the plugs donot match from the obd2 harness to the obd1 distributor.

help

pretty sure on OBDI motors there is no crank sensor.

That is the Crank fluctuation sensor.

That is the crank fluctuation sensor, mounted in the oil pump housing near the lower timing belt sproket.........it is on OBD2 B series engines. OBD1 B series engines do not have this sensor.

Yup. You will have to run a OBD1 ecu with harness to not get the check engine light.

obd 1 and JDM motors do not have this
you should either run the same ecu that came with the motor or get a p28 chipped to DOHC spec

as far as the dizzy plugs you can repin them but it takes paitence and time 2 things i don't have......but the colors are all the same.. cut->splice-->solder--->tape
